Recently,
I had a great fortune of attending a destination wedding in the beautiful hotel
Udaigarh in Udaipur, Rajasthan. While there were many things that amazed me
about this wedding, one thing that stood out was the level of planning that
went into organising this event. The whole thing went off smoothly without any
hitch. When I enquired the father of the groom how he pulled of this spectacle?
He replied that he had hired the best destinationwedding planners to take care of the job.
All
he did was research for the best wedding
vendors in India and chose one that not only had the experience and
resources to pull off this massive event, but was also offering his services at
a competitive price package. Once the deal was finalised, then all the
planning, booking the wedding venue and Hotel rooms, hiring the services of
transport operators, organising the mehendi and sangeet ceremony, selecting the
dishes (after consulting the client) and others were done by the wedding

After
looking at the entire thing critically, I realised that it requires a lot of
professionalism, skill, experience and man management by the wedding planner to

future, if I have to organise any big event, then I will
definitely take the services of the wedding planner and spend my time enjoying
the occasion and not bothered by all the responsibilities associated with the
event.
