How to plan your day as a wedding planner

Even a wedding planner has to plan his/her day so that it goes ahead smoothly without much hassle so that he/she can focus the entire attention on the main task of organising the wedding ceremony. Prepare in advance

Here are some things that you can do a day before the actual wedding ceremony takes place.

1). Check whether everything you will need for the wedding day is prepared and packed.

2). Make folders for yourself as well as for the head of your team that includes run sheets, floorplans, seating charts, checklists et cetera.

3). You must charge all your electronic devices and also pack them along with their chargers so that on the day of the marriage ceremony you can continuously stay in contact with your staff members.

4). You should stock your emergency kit and do a follow-up with all the vendors as well as touch base with the wedding couple.

5). You must select your dress well in advance which should be Smart yet casual.

6). You should take the afternoon or evening off before the day when the wedding ceremony will take place to recharge your body.

On the wedding day

On the wedding day, you have to be on your toes to ensure that everything goes ahead smoothly.

1). You should start the day with a full breakfast so that you are fully charged to take command of the wedding planning.

2). Contact all the vendors and check when they are arriving.

3). Move through the crowd to ensure that all your staff members are working as they should and if you find any issue, then solve it on the spot. Take care of the seating arrangement to see that everyone is comfortable and enjoying the ceremony. You must also check whether the food is ready on time and direct the guest to the dining area in small batches so that crowding is avoided at the dinner place.
